Dear reader,
I have at various times in my life, been accused of being an atheist, a homosexual, a felon, a communist; all with varying degrees of truth. I therefore appeal to Christopher Hitchens (easily the best writer in a generation),who said in his memoir ‘the only unforgivable sin is to be boring’. I hope that in some small way I can claim innocence of this, by living a life full of brave ideas and passion.
